Job Title

SOC Verification Engineer

Role Summary

Join NVIDIA's SoC verification team to design and execute verification for next-generation SoCs, including CPU, GPU, high-speed interfaces, and system-level horizontal functions. The role focuses on developing testbenches, verification flows, and automation to validate subsystems and full-chip behavior through simulation, FPGA, and silicon bring-up.

Experience Level

Mid-level β€” requires 3+ years of industry experience.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include planning and executing verification activities across simulation, FPGA, and silicon.

  • Verify CPU, GPU, high-speed interfaces, Design for Debug (DFD), boot and power-management functions at subsystem and full-chip levels.
  • Develop and implement verification test plans in collaboration with SoC architects.
  • Design and build verification testbenches, flows, and infrastructure from the ground up.
  • Automate verification flows and develop tools to improve coverage and efficiency.
  • Support bring-up and end-to-end validation on FPGA and silicon with a full software stack.

Requirements

Qualifications are divided into must-have and nice-to-have items.

Must-have

  • Experience across the verification stack: SW simulator level through FPGA and silicon bring-up.
  • Strong verification fundamentals; ability to work on SW simulators, full-chip testbenches, and FPGA/silicon.
  • Experience with Verilog, SystemVerilog, and C/C++.
  • Proven debugging skills and experience creating verification testbenches and infrastructure.

Nice-to-have

  • Experience with complex verification projects at subsystem and SoC integration levels.
  • Familiarity with SoC integration and verification methodologies.
  • Experience collaborating with geographically distributed, cross-functional teams.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree (or equivalent practical experience) in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field. The posting specifies 3+ years of industry experience; equivalent practical experience is acceptable.
