Job Title

SOC Verification Engineer

Role Summary

Member of NVIDIA's SoC verification team responsible for designing and executing verification for next-generation SoCs, including CPU, GPU, high-speed interfaces, debug, boot and power-management functions.

Work across software simulators, full-chip testbenches, FPGA and silicon; develop test plans, verification infrastructure, flows and automation in collaboration with SOC architects.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include planning, building, and executing verification activities across subsystem and full-chip scopes.

  • Verify CPU, GPU, high-speed interfaces, Design for Debug (DFD), boot and power-management at subsystem and full-chip testbenches, including FPGA and silicon bring-up.
  • Develop and implement verification test plans in collaboration with SOC architects.
  • Design and build verification testbenches, infrastructure and automation from the ground up.
  • Integrate verification flows spanning software simulators, full-chip environments, FPGA and silicon.
  • Debug complex hardware/software integration and bring-up issues.
  • Collaborate with geographically distributed, cross-functional teams.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills and experience; followed by distinguishing qualifications.

  • Strong verification fundamentals and proven experience across SW simulators, full-chip testbenches, FPGA and silicon.
  • Experience with Verilog and SystemVerilog.
  • Proficient in C/C++ and strong debugging skills.
  • Experience creating verification testbenches, building flows and verification infrastructure.
  • Experience developing verification automation and end-to-end verification from simulator to silicon.
  • Ability to develop verification test plans and work closely with architects.
  • Nice-to-have: experience with complex subsystem or SoC integration verification and established SoC integration methodologies.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent practical experience. The posting specifies 3+ years of industry experience as the expected level.
