Job Title

SoC Verification Engineer

Role Summary

Join the SoC verification team to develop and execute verification strategies for complex chip designs. The role focuses on validating IP, clusters, and full-chip functionality and reliability in collaboration with design, integration, test, and CAD teams.

Experience Level

Entry-level (1–3 years of professional experience in DFT or digital design).

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Verify custom analog macros for correctness and reliability.
  • Define verification scope and develop verification strategies with Design, Integration, and Test Engineering teams.
  • Implement test plans and verify designs at IP, cluster, and full-chip levels.
  • Collaborate with CAD to optimize and streamline simulation and verification flows.
  • Generate test patterns and support chip bring-up activities.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills and experience:

  • 1–3 years of experience in DFT or digital design.
  • Strong debugging and analytical skills with RTL/gate-level tracing tools (e.g., Verdi) and verification simulators (e.g., VCS).
  • Familiarity with SoC fundamentals: clocking, reset, power rails, I/O pads, and packaging.

Nice-to-have:

  • Understanding of Design-for-Test methodologies (Scan, ATPG, BIST, JTAG).
  • Proficiency in scripting or programming languages such as Python, Perl, Tcl, C, or C++.
  • Fluent English communication skills (written and verbal).

Education Requirements

Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.
