SOC Validation Engineer
Role Summary
Validate high-performance wireless datapath and networking features across silicon and system platforms. Work with architecture, design, firmware, and software teams to ensure protocol compliance, performance, reliability, and customer readiness for next-generation wireless infrastructure products.

Responsibilities
Primary duties include planning, execution, and debug of datapath and networking validation.
- Develop and execute validation plans for wireless datapath and networking features.
- Validate packet processing, traffic management, QoS, buffer management, and congestion handling.
- Validate O-RAN, eCPRI, Ethernet, timing-related features, and protocol compliance.
- Lead post-silicon bring-up, debug, and root-cause analysis across hardware, firmware, and software.
- Execute performance, stress, scalability, and reliability testing.
- Develop automation frameworks, regression suites, and validation infrastructure.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and customers to drive issues to resolution and enable product adoption.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills and experience; preferred items noted separately.
- Extensive experience validating networking and wireless systems, including packet processing and protocol debugging.
- Familiarity with Ethernet, eCPRI, QoS, PTP/IEEE 1588, TCP/IP, and related networking protocols.
- Hands-on silicon bring-up and system-level validation experience.
- Proficiency in Python, Linux, and test automation development.
- Experience with traffic generators, protocol analyzers, Wireshark, and performance benchmarking tools.
- Strong problem-solving and cross-team collaboration skills; customer-facing experience desirable.
- Nice-to-have: exposure to FPGA, emulation, or post-silicon validation environments.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
