- Design and implement RTL in Verilog/SystemVerilog for SoC IP and subsystems.
- Define micro-architecture and develop logic for complex SoC blocks.
- Develop timing constraints and drive timing closure; collaborate on synthesis and static timing analysis.
- Implement low-power SoC techniques and support multi-clock and asynchronous interfaces.
- Integrate and validate AMBA protocols (AXI, AHB, APB) and peripheral interfaces (e.g., USB, PCIe, SDCC).
- Coordinate pre- and post-silicon debug with verification and validation teams.
- Work with floorplan and pad-ring teams for chip-level integration.
- Use ASIC toolchain for linting, CDC analysis, synthesis (Design Compiler), and timing signoff (PrimeTime).
Requirements
Must-have technical skills and experience:
- Strong RTL coding skills in Verilog/SystemVerilog.
- Hands-on SoC design and integration experience.
- Proven experience with constraint development and timing closure.
- Experience with low-power SoC design techniques.
- Deep understanding of synthesis and timing concepts for ASIC flows.
- Experience with multi-clock designs and asynchronous interfaces.
- Familiarity with ASIC development tools: lint, CDC tools, synthesis tools, and PrimeTime.
Nice-to-have:
- Experience with memory controller designs and microprocessor interfaces.
- Experience creating pad ring and working with chip-level floorplanning.
- Familiarity with peripherals such as USB, PCIe, and SDCC.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, or related field (minimum: 2+ years hardware engineering experience), OR Master's in the same fields (minimum: 1+ year experience), OR PhD in a related field. Fields referenced: Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related technical disciplines.
