SoC PTP Validation and Optimization Engineer (Temporary)
Role Summary
Contract role supporting development of GenIA, an internal AI-driven automation platform enabling LLM-based workflows, intelligent agents, and GenAI integrations across multiple engineering teams at GDC.
The engineer will collaborate with architecture, validation, firmware, software and data teams to design and implement scalable automation, orchestration services, and AI-driven workflows that improve validation and engineering operations.
Experience Level
Entry-level β approximately 6+ months of relevant professional, internship or academic experience in automation, software integration, or AI/LLM tooling.
Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include building automation and integrations that accelerate validation and operational workflows.
- Develop and maintain automation frameworks, orchestration services, and AI-driven workflows for validation and engineering operations.
- Integrate internal tools, APIs, data pipelines, and LLM/GenAI services.
- Create intelligent agents and reusable workflows to automate data analysis, validation execution, reporting, and operational tasks.
- Design scalable solutions to reduce duplicated effort and simplify cross-team workflow management.
- Collaborate with architecture, validation, firmware, software, and performance engineering teams to identify and implement automation and AI opportunities.
- Improve automation reliability, observability, and data management to support scalable deployment.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills, work eligibility, and role conditions.
- At least 6 months experience with Python and developing automation frameworks, APIs, or workflow orchestration solutions.
- Experience with Large Language Models (LLMs), GenAI tools, or AI-agent frameworks.
- Experience working in Linux environments, scripting, and software integration workflows.
- Familiarity with software architecture, distributed systems, or cloud-native technologies.
- Intermediate to advanced English communication skills.
- Unrestricted, permanent right to work in Mexico (no visa sponsorship available).
- Temporary contract position (1 year), full-time; eligible for hybrid work model.
Nice-to-have:
- Experience building AI-driven automation platforms or intelligent workflow systems.
- Knowledge of REST APIs, event-driven architectures, and data pipelines.
- Familiarity with validation, telemetry, or engineering operational workflows.
- Experience with container technologies, observability tools, or scalable backend services.
- Exposure to hardware validation, SoC, or server platform environments.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer or Software Engineering or a related field is listed as a minimum; equivalent practical experience, internships, or relevant coursework may satisfy this requirement.
