Role Summary

Own and manage enablement, execution and delivery of System-on-Chip (SoC) programs. Coordinate cross-functional teams (design, verification, DFT, physical design, emulation) to deliver products on schedule, within budget, and meeting technical KPIs.

Responsibilities

The role drives program planning, execution, and stakeholder alignment across the SoC lifecycle.

  • Define program scope, schedules, budgets, resources, deliverables and risks; drive plans of record.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams (Design, DV, DFT, Physical Design, System Emulation) to meet milestones.
  • Track program milestones and key KPIs (power, performance, cost) and NRE.
  • Support NPI activities from concept review through tapeout and commercialization.
  • Run execution reviews, escalate risks, maintain program dashboards, and report status to executives.
  • Ensure compliance with processes, manage quality, and close program checklists.
  • Collaborate with sponsors and stakeholders to set priorities and resolve inter-team issues.

  • Must-have: 7+ years of program or project management experience in engineering or semiconductor-related environments.
  • Must-have: Proven leadership/management experience and strong interpersonal and communication skills at all levels.
  • Must-have: Practical understanding of the semiconductor chip design cycle and product development flow from design to customer deployment.
  • Must-have: Proficiency with standard office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and experience maintaining program dashboards and trackers.
  • Must-have: Experience managing risk, schedule, NRE, quality and process compliance for complex engineering programs.
  • Nice-to-have: 15+ years in the semiconductor industry; prior work in IoT, wireless/mobile, or automotive domains.
  • Nice-to-have: Experience with AI-driven reporting or dashboard creation and advanced program analytics.
  • Nice-to-have: Experience defining and implementing program/process improvements.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field is specified.
