Role Summary
Drive power-efficient SoC architecture and system-level innovation for next-generation client and AI computing platforms. Define power management, performance optimization, and thermal behavior at the system level.
Collaborate with architecture, hardware, software, validation, and product teams to deliver scalable solutions from concept through silicon bring-up and high-volume manufacturing.
Experience Level
Senior level. Experience guidance from the posting: Bachelor's +12 years, Master's +10 years, or PhD +6 years.
Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include system-level power architecture, trade-off analysis, and supporting the product lifecycle.
- Define and develop SoC power management architecture to optimize performance, efficiency, and thermal behavior.
- Maintain a system-level perspective to align product goals, constraints, and implementation.
- Evaluate design trade-offs and define feature requirements, specifications, and architecture solutions.
- Drive power integration strategies across new and existing IP blocks.
- Partner with hardware and software teams to ensure successful execution, validation, and enablement.
- Support the full product lifecycle from early concept through silicon bring-up and production.
- Analyze post-silicon power/performance data to identify optimization opportunities.
- Contribute to debug, root-cause analysis, and continuous improvement efforts.
- Communicate with and influence cross-functional stakeholders; demonstrate ownership and accountability.

Must-have: Expertise in SoC architecture and development methodologies.
- Strong knowledge of system architecture, microarchitecture fundamentals, and SoC fundamentals.
- Proficiency in architecture definition and feature definition.
- Hands-on experience with architecture register specification.
- SoC performance modeling and analysis experience.
- Ability to apply disciplined execution and structured problem-solving in complex projects.
- Strong analytical, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills; ownership mindset.

Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field with 12+ years of experience; or a Master's degree with 10+ years; or a PhD with 6+ years.
