SoC-IP Architect
Role Summary
Design and specify SoC-level IP (network-on-chip and cache-coherency) and lead architecture choices across product lines. The role reports to the Chief Hardware Architect and collaborates with hardware, software, and customer-facing teams to turn architectural decisions into implementable IP.
Experience Level
Senior β requires 8+ years of hands-on experience in SoC architecture or microarchitecture.
Responsibilities
Contribute to product architecture, specification, and cross-team delivery.
- Develop and document hardware architectures for Baya products (SoC IP such as NoC, cache-coherent fabrics, D2D interfaces).
- Evaluate and validate architectural options using modeling and analysis techniques.
- Write clear, implementable specifications for IP blocks and system interactions.
- Work with hardware and software engineering teams to ensure designs are implemented correctly.
- Support customer interactions and customer-support teams to align architecture with customer requirements.

Must-have: 8+ years of current, hands-on SoC architecture or microarchitecture experience.

Must-have: In-depth understanding of digital hardware for cache-coherency, NoC, D2D interfaces, or similar system IP.

Must-have: System-level experience on large SoC projects (place-and-route considerations, RAS, security, interface-IP, QoS).

Must-have: Strong knowledge of AMBA and other standard on-chip interfaces.

Plus: Experience with scripting/programming and source control (for example, Python and Git).

Education Requirements
BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.
