Job Title

SoC Functional Safety and Cybersecurity Manager

Role Summary

Manage functional safety and automotive cybersecurity compliance for Arm's SoC programs within the Global Standards and Compliance team. Support development, assessment, and release activities for automotive, robotics, and Physical AI products.

Develop scalable compliance approaches for ISO 26262 and ISO/SAE 21434, improve development workflows, support external assessments, and deploy best engineering practices across programs.

Experience Level

Senior-level β€” requires 10+ years of experience in semiconductor or SoC development in safety-critical industries.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

  • Enable automotive and robotics programs from development through certification.
  • Align engineering practices with industry standards and customer requirements.
  • Drive readiness for external assessments and perform internal audits and reviews.
  • Prepare compliance evidence, safety documentation, and assessment responses.
  • Establish process improvements, trainings, corrective actions, and best practices across SoC programs.
  • Contribute to internal and external safety readiness initiatives across automotive, robotics, AI, and industrial domains.

Requirements

Must-have qualifications:

  • 10+ years in semiconductor or SoC development within safety-critical industries.
  • Practical knowledge of ISO 26262 and ISO/SAE 21434; familiarity with ASPICE or IEC 61508.
  • Proven experience supporting engineering teams in compliance, audits, and process improvement.
  • Experience producing or reviewing functional safety and cybersecurity assessment work products.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and cross-organizational collaboration skills.

Nice-to-have: experience with Physical AI products or automotive SoC programs.
