Role Summary
Member of Apple's Silicon Technologies group responsible for designing, implementing, and integrating SoC logic and IP to deliver high-performance, power-efficient processors. The role covers microarchitecture/spec writing, front-end integration, and cross-functional collaboration with verification, physical design, and software teams.

Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include delivering SoC features through design, integration, and collaboration:
- Write microarchitecture and design specifications.
- Design, implement, and debug complex RTL/logic designs.
- Integrate complex IP blocks into the SoC.
- Support front-end integration activities such as lint, CDC, synthesis, and ECO.
- Collaborate with SOC design verification, emulation, formal verification, STA, and physical design teams.
- Work with software and systems teams to ensure a high-quality end product.
Requirements
Must-have skills and experience:
- Hands-on experience across the chip development lifecycle, especially front-end integration and RTL design.
- Proficiency with front-end tools and methodologies (lint, CDC, synthesis, ECO).
- Experience writing specifications and converting them into designs.
- Experience with multiple clock domains and asynchronous interfaces.
- Experience with AMBA fabric protocols (AXI, AHB, APB).
- Familiarity with formal verification techniques.
- Knowledge of system architecture, CPU and IP integration, and power/clock management design.
- Effective communication skills and familiarity with software/operating concepts.
