Role Summary

Technical lead responsible for end-to-end execution of SoC programs from project definition through tape-out and post-silicon support. Lead cross-functional engineering teams to deliver high-quality silicon on schedule and manage technical risks during integration, validation, and product ramp.

Experience Level

Senior — 15+ years of semiconductor industry experience.

Responsibilities

Own technical execution and program delivery for assigned SoC projects; coordinate across architecture, design, verification, implementation, and validation teams.

• Own SoC program execution from definition through tape-out and post-silicon support, including milestone delivery and silicon bring-up.
• Drive technical decisions across architecture, RTL, integration, verification, DFT, emulation, physical design, AMS, IP, and validation teams.
• Lead cross-functional coordination to resolve dependencies, remove execution bottlenecks, and mitigate critical risks.
• Develop and maintain project plans with PMO/SoC PM; monitor schedules, resources, critical paths, and execute recovery actions when needed.
• Manage stakeholder communications: product, system engineering, NPI, BU management, and external partners; present status and risks at reviews.
• Own tape-out readiness and signoff closure; coordinate post-silicon validation and engineering support for issue resolution.

Requirements

Must-haves for immediate effectiveness in this role.

• 15+ years of semiconductor industry experience with multiple SoC deliveries.
• Proven SoC development experience across architecture, RTL, integration, verification and tape-out.
• Strong understanding of SoC flows: RTL design, integration, verification, DFT, emulation, physical design, and silicon validation.
• Experience leading large, distributed cross-functional engineering teams.
• Demonstrated project execution, planning, risk management, and recovery skills.
• Excellent communication, leadership, stakeholder management, and influencing abilities in a matrix organization.

Nice-to-have:

• Experience as a Chip Lead, SoC Technical Lead, Chief Engineer, or Project Technical Leader.
• Background in automotive, industrial, or safety-critical semiconductor products and global, multi-site development.
• Track record of multiple successful tape-outs and post-silicon ramps.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree or higher in Microelectronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
