Job Title

SoC Architect (Remote)

Role Summary

Lead the architecture of next-generation AI-focused, server-class system-on-chip (SoC) designs. Collaborate with subsystem architects, implementation teams, and cross-functional partners to convert product requirements into concrete SoC-level designs and drive them through productization.

Experience Level

Mid-level (experienced SoC architect). The posting requests significant industry experience but does not specify exact years.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Translate product requirements (PRDs) into SoC-level architectures in collaboration with subsystem architects and cross-functional teams.
  • Define SoC architecture including memory, interconnects, clocking, power, IP requirements, and system integration.
  • Define system flows for power-up, boot, and recovery.
  • Own PPA feasibility and drive power, performance, and area trade-offs with implementation teams.
  • Maintain architectural specifications and documentation from definition through productization.

Requirements

Must-have qualifications and skills:

  • Proven industry experience with complex SoC architectures.
  • Deep knowledge of memory systems and interconnect fabrics and relevant industry standards.
  • Ability to define functional and PPA requirements from use cases and make trade-off decisions.
  • Strong technical communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
  • Experience collaborating across hardware, software, and third-party IP teams.
  • Programming/scripting skills (Verilog, C/C++, Python, Bash or similar).

Nice-to-have:

  • Prior experience with server-class or AI-focused silicon.
  • Hands-on implementation or verification background.

Education Requirements
