SMTS Design Enablement (PDK)
Role Summary
Develop and maintain Design Rule Check (DRC) components within Process Design Kits (PDKs) for GlobalFoundries RF technologies. Support customer enablement by modelling fabrication processes, validating DRC flows, collaborating with EDA vendors, and delivering automated, production-quality PDK deliverables.

Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities focus on end-to-end development, validation, and support of DRC components in PDKs and on cross-functional delivery.
- Develop and maintain DRC components as part of RF PDKs.
- Model semiconductor fabrication processes within verification/PEX solutions to ensure accurate design enablement.
- Collaborate with EDA tool vendors to develop DRCs, resolve technical issues, and improve flows.
- Investigate and resolve customer-reported issues related to DRC PDK components.
- Implement and maintain automation for DRC development, validation, and QA to increase productivity and consistency.
- Contribute to DRC methodologies, validation flows, and quality standards.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to manage and deliver PDK milestones for RF technologies.
- Perform work in compliance with Environmental, Health, Safety & Security (EHS&S) requirements.
Requirements
