SLT Test Engineer

Role Summary

Support system-level testing (SLT) for GPU/SoC NPI and mass production. Work within Operations/Manufacturing engineering to develop automated test systems, test stations, and thermal solutions, and provide technical support to the production floor.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors to improve yield and resolve production issues in a high-volume manufacturing environment.

Experience Level

Mid-level — 5+ years of experience in semiconductor or electronic manufacturing.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include setup, development, maintenance, and debugging of SLT systems and test programs.

• Support SLT NPI manufacturing and engineering activities from bring-up through mass production.
• Develop automated testing systems and thermal solutions for system-level testing.
• Perform NPI test station setup, hardware configuration, and ongoing maintenance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors on test equipment design and validation.
• Conduct Design of Experiments (DOE) to troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
• Collect and analyze manufacturing data to drive yield improvements.
• Provide frontline technical support to the production floor.
• Develop test programs for system- and chip-level debugging and failure analysis.

Requirements

Must-have and nice-to-have technical skills and experience.

• Must-have: 5+ years experience in a semiconductor or electronic manufacturing environment.
• Must-have: Proficiency with Linux shell, Python, C, SQL, and AI tools.
• Must-have: Experience debugging production systems and conducting Design of Experiments (DOE) or similar troubleshooting methodologies.
• Nice-to-have: Background in test hardware and software development.
• Nice-to-have: Experience with CERO, Allegro, or similar engineering drawing software.
• Nice-to-have: Experience with automated test systems and thermal solutions for SLT.

Education Requirements

Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering, or a related field.
