Role Summary

Primary engineering resource for Business Group (BG) MOS Discretes final test activities at the Back End (BE) site in Cabuyao. Responsible for deploying and maintaining BG MOS Final Test capability, supporting new product introductions, and protecting final-test yield across BE locations.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include operationalizing final test capability, supporting new product and package launches, and improving test methods and capacity.

• Ensure BG MOS final test capability and best practices are deployed and maintained across BE locations.
• Drive and recommend RTP for new products and test equipment.
• Identify and define Safe Launch requirements for smooth volume ramp-up.
• Support New Product Introduction (NPI) and new package development; recommend test setups, sockets, and contacts.
• Implement new/advanced measurement methods and test equipment on the BE line.
• Enhance testing procedures to protect final-test yield.
• Increase BE line capacity and perform advanced product measurements for customer inquiries or complaints.
• Report to the BG MOS Industrial Test and Product Engineering manager.

Requirements

Minimum and preferred experience, tools, and skills.

• Must-have: Experience in a semiconductor company in Final Test or related support groups (Test Equipment, Test Process, Test Engineering).
• Must-have: Background in power semiconductor device testing (Power MOSFET and Bipolar preferred).
• Must-have: Experience setting up and qualifying testers, handlers, test contacts, and new test equipment.
• Must-have: Experience supporting R&D/NPI and creating or revising test jobs to improve testing and yield.
• Must-have: Ability to manage multiple projects and effectively communicate with stakeholders.
• Must-have: Familiarity with data analysis/statistical tools (examples: Exensio, Spotfire, Power BI, JMP, Statistica).
• Nice-to-have: Familiarity with CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD).
• Good communication and presentation skills; willingness to travel.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical and Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering) or a relevant discipline.
