Role Summary
Lead silicon and system-level validation activities for MCU/MPU/SoC and connectivity products, and define an AI-first validation strategy. Work across hardware, firmware, and software domains to enable silicon bring-up, post-silicon validation, system qualification, and validation automation.
Experience Level
Senior level β requires 10+ years of semiconductor industry experience and demonstrated leadership of large technical initiatives and cross-functional programs.
Responsibilities
Accountable for technical direction and delivery of silicon validation and AI/ML-driven validation transformation.
- Define and drive silicon bring-up, post-silicon, and system-level validation strategies.
- Lead debug and root-cause analysis across hardware, firmware, and software.
- Design and implement scalable validation automation frameworks and CI/CD for validation pipelines.
- Apply AI/ML for failure analysis, root-cause prediction, test optimization, and coverage analysis.
- Architect digital-twin and model-based validation solutions to improve test effectiveness and productivity.
- Operate and scale remote labs, cloud-based validation, and board-farm infrastructures.
- Drive cross-functional programs, coordinate with SoC, silicon bring-up, firmware, software, and system teams.
- Mentor engineers and promote best practices in validation, automation, and AI/ML use-cases.
Requirements
Key technical and leadership requirements. Education details are listed separately under "Education Requirements."
- 10+ years of semiconductor industry experience focused on MCU, MPU, SoC, or connectivity product development.
- Proven experience in silicon bring-up, post-silicon validation, system validation, and product qualification.
- Strong expertise in debug and root-cause analysis spanning hardware, firmware, and software domains.
- Expert-level Python development; strong C/C++ programming skills.
- Experience developing scalable validation automation frameworks and CI/CD for test pipelines.
- Familiarity with remote labs, cloud-based validation environments, and board-farm infrastructures.
- Practical experience applying AI/ML to failure analysis, root-cause prediction, test optimization, or coverage analysis.
- Ability to define and execute an AI-first validation strategy and work with digital twin/model-based validation approaches.
Nice-to-have:
