Silicon Operations Program Manager
Role Summary
Manage day-to-day program execution for silicon operations to ensure timely New Product Introduction (NPI) chip supply and flawless operational handoffs. Work cross-functionally with engineering, foundry, OSATs, supply chain, and business operations to track schedules, risks, and deliverables.
Experience Level
Senior β typically 8+ years of experience in planning, supply chain, program management, business operations, or a related field.
Responsibilities
Operational program management and cross-functional coordination focused on silicon supply and readiness.
- Own tactical program management for silicon operations activities, schedules, deliverables, and daily execution.
- Track and communicate action items, risks, dependencies, and NPI supply status across teams.
- Coordinate planning and execution across engineering, foundry, supply chain, and OSATs.
- Support procurement and allocation of test hardware, engineering build requests, material planning, capacity tracking, forecasts, and logistics.
- Develop and maintain trackers, reports, and process documentation for leadership reporting.
- Identify blockers, drive issue closure, and ensure decisions and status are communicated clearly.
- Continuously improve workflows, communication rhythms, and operational processes.
Requirements
Must-have skills and experience required to perform the role.
- 8+ years of relevant experience in program management, planning, supply chain, business operations, or related functions.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks, collaborators, and deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication; experience preparing leadership-level updates.
- Proficiency with reporting and planning tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, Smartsheet, Tableau, Power BI, SAP, or similar.
- Experience tracking program metrics, risks, actions, dependencies, and outcomes.
- High attention to detail and ability to follow through in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
- Ownership mentality with ability to drive accountability without direct authority.
Nice-to-have:
- Experience in semiconductor, silicon, hardware, manufacturing, or technology operations.
- Background supporting NPI, supply readiness, capacity planning, or silicon lifecycle management.
- Experience working with global teams and complex collaborator environments.
- Proven record improving operational processes, reporting systems, or cross-functional workflows; strong analytical skills.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business or Engineering is specified, or equivalent practical experience. Preferred certifications mentioned include PMP, Agile, Lean Six Sigma, or similar program/project management credentials.
