Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include integration, specification, verification, and tooling for full-chip RTL.
- Develop full-chip SoC RTL and connectivity models.
- Write full-chip design specification documents.
- Integrate IP components from multiple teams and coordinate with IP owners.
- Collaborate with Architecture, Software, and Verification teams to ensure RTL quality.
- Verify full-chip models match architectural intent and perform static checks.
- Run lint and other static verification tools and debug integration issues.
- Develop custom tools and methodologies to improve development efficiency and quality.
Requirements
Degree requirements are summarized in the Education Requirements section below.
- Must-have: Proficient in RTL and behavioral coding in Verilog/SystemVerilog.
- Must-have: Experience with RTL integration and full-chip SoC RTL development.
- Must-have: Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills; effective verbal and written communication; able to work independently and in distributed teams.
- Nice-to-have: Experience or familiarity using FPGAs and deep understanding of FPGA and SoC architectures.
- Nice-to-have: Proven experience with ASIC design flow execution and synthesis/timing constraints at the SoC level.
- Nice-to-have: Familiarity with CAD/EDA tools such as VCS, Verdi, Design Compiler, PrimeTime, Spyglass, Lint, Conformal, CDC/RDC tools.
