Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include research, implementation, and delivery of physical-design optimization algorithms and tools.
- Design and implement new optimization engines and algorithms in C++ for physical design and timing optimization.
- Enhance and refactor existing algorithms for correctness, performance, and scalability.
- Profile, debug, and optimize code for runtime and memory on large designs.
- Collaborate with physical design teams to integrate algorithms into flows and validate results on silicon-representative workloads.
- Write tests, benchmarks, and documentation to ensure production readiness.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical design reviews.
