Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include:
- Research and develop new optimization engines for physical design and timing closure.
- Design, implement, and optimize algorithms in C/C++ for performance and scalability.
- Analyze timing results and benchmark algorithm effectiveness on real designs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate algorithms into production toolchains.
- Maintain and improve existing codebase, including testing and performance profiling.
Requirements
Must-have and preferred qualifications:
- Must-have: 6+ years of experience in VLSI physical design or related R&D with a strong grasp of timing optimization concepts.
- Must-have: Proven programming and algorithm development experience in C/C++.
