Senior Software Development Tech Lead — NVLink Firmware and NVOS
Role Summary
Own the technical direction and delivery of NVLink firmware and NVOS features that enable NVIDIA's datacenter networking fabric. This is a hands-on senior individual contributor role working across product, test, manufacturing, and partner teams to translate customer requirements into production-quality software.

Senior-level; typically 12+ years of software development experience.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include:
- Spearhead end-to-end development and implementation of NVLink firmware and NVOS features.
- Own the software development lifecycle (SDLC) for assigned programs and act as the point of contact for deliveries.
- Define technical direction, decompose features, and enforce quality standards as a hands-on individual contributor.
- Collaborate with product, test, applications engineering, production/manufacturing, and partner teams to resolve customer issues and deliver solutions.
- Implement application flows that leverage the networking fabric to support core cloud service provider customers.
- Establish guidelines for evaluation, observability, and continuous improvement across manufacturing and production networks.
- Promote AI-driven tooling and practices across development and test workflows.
Requirements
Must-have qualifications:
- 12+ years of direct software development experience with substantial responsibility for complex, customer-facing systems or platforms.
- Proven experience as a technical lead, engineering manager, or architect on networking and datacenter infrastructure projects.
- Strong networking acumen and experience with firmware and/or OS development for network infrastructure.
- Hands-on development experience in embedded C/C++ and Python.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to influence technical direction across teams while remaining an individual contributor.
Nice-to-have:
- Experience driving end-to-end networking projects, including embedded RTOS and SDK workflows.
- Contributions to internal or open-source networking frameworks, OS, tooling, or processes.
- History of mentoring senior engineers and elevating engineering standards for code quality and reliability.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering — or equivalent practical experience.
