  • Profile and optimize memory usage and execution time; apply computational geometry techniques.
  • Collaborate with hardware architects, verification teams, and other software engineers to meet project targets.
  • Drive technical decisions, produce design documents, and mentor junior engineers.

Requirements

  • Strong professional experience in C++ and software engineering for performance-sensitive applications.
  • Proven expertise in computational geometry and algorithm development for placement/routing problems.
  • Demonstrated experience with VLSI physical design flows and constraints (placement, global routing, timing/mask considerations).
  • Ability to analyze and optimize runtime and memory for large-scale design problems.
  • Excellent debugging, code-profiling, and system-integration skills.
  • Good communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional work with architects and EDA teams.
  • Nice-to-have: experience with parallel algorithms, scripting (Python), and familiarity with commercial or academic EDA tools.
