Senior VLSI Integration Engineer
Role Summary
Join the NVIDIA System‑On‑Chip (SoC) group to drive RTL integration, chip build, and padring design and verification for complex networking ASICs. The role coordinates across ASIC, Physical Design, CAD, Package, Software, DFT and verification teams to deliver production‑ready chips and associated flows.
Experience Level
Senior level. The posting requests 7+ years of chip design experience.
Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities focus on chip‑level integration, design quality, and flow development.
- Implement chip‑level design through collaboration with cross‑functional teams (Functional Design, DFT, Design Verification, System Verification, STA, Physical Design).
- Investigate and resolve functional and structural issues, including functional debug and design quality problems.
- Support physical design readiness, emulation, and delivery to downstream customers like physical design and firmware teams.
- Perform partitioning, CDC/RDC analysis, trial synthesis, and design quality checks.
- Develop, test and deploy SoC integration and automation flows.
Requirements
Must‑have technical skills and experience.
- 7+ years of hands‑on chip design experience.
- Strong RTL design skills in SystemVerilog.
- Proficiency in at least one scripting language (Python, Bash, Tcl).
- Proven ability to work effectively in cross‑functional teams; good collaboration skills.
Nice to have:
- Experience delivering to physical design, emulation, and firmware customers; strong focus on quality.
Education Requirements
B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.
