Job Title

Senior Verification Engineer - Scalable Coherency Fabric

Role Summary

Verify the architecture, micro-architecture and implementation of NVIDIA’s scalable coherency fabric (SCF) as part of the CPU interconnect/fabric verification team. Work with architects, designers, and pre- and post-silicon teams to define verification scope, build infrastructure, and deliver robust verification plans.

Experience Level

Senior — typically requires 5+ years of relevant verification or interconnect experience.

Responsibilities

Identify verification scope, develop test plans, implement infrastructure, and execute advanced verification methods to validate SCF designs.

  • Define verification scope and develop comprehensive test plans for fabric and interconnect designs.
  • Develop verification infrastructure and testbenches using SystemVerilog and UVM.
  • Apply formal verification techniques and advanced verification methodologies.
  • Collaborate with architects, RTL designers, and pre-/post-silicon teams to debug issues and close verification gaps.
  • Coordinate tasks within the verification team and mentor junior engineers where needed.

Requirements

Core technical skills and experience required; list separates must-have and nice-to-have items.

  • Must-have: 5+ years of relevant experience in interconnect/fabric verification.
  • Detailed knowledge of large-scale coherent interconnect architectures.
  • Prior experience verifying ARM AMBA protocols (AXI/ACE/CHI) or other high-performance interconnect protocols.
  • Experience with Network-on-Chip (NoC) build verification.
  • Experience building testbenches and verification infrastructure with SystemVerilog and UVM.
  • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills, and effective written/verbal communication in a distributed team.
  • Nice-to-have: track record of mentoring junior engineers and interns; strong background in computer architecture.

Education Requirements

PhD, Master’s, or Bachelor’s degree — or equivalent practical experience. The posting explicitly allows equivalent experience; a strong background in computer architecture or related technical fields is helpful.
