NVIDIAJob Title
Senior Verification Engineer - HSIO Cluster and SOC
Role Summary
Owner of cluster and SoC-level verification for HSIO IPs within NVIDIA's automotive verification group. The role focuses on verification of high-performance CPU/memory subsystems, NOC-based interconnects, and high-speed I/Os used in Tegra chips.
Work across architecture, RTL design, FPGA and post-silicon teams to develop verification environments, close functional coverage, and ensure block and system robustness.
Experience Level
Senior - typically requires 5+ years of professional experience in verification closure of complex units, subsystems, or SoC-level verification.
Responsibilities
Drive verification for cluster and system-level projects, developing reusable verification infrastructure and ensuring closure.
- Architect testbenches and build verification environments using SystemVerilog and C/C++ methodologies.
- Define test plans, tests, and verification infrastructure for clusters and SoC-level verification.
- Develop bus functional models (BFMs), monitors, checkers, and scoreboards for rapid data-transfer IO IPs.
- Implement functional coverage and drive SoC-level verification closure.
- Verify high-speed IOs and subsystems such as USB, UFS, MPHY, Ethernet, and MACSEC.
- Collaborate with architects, designers, FPGA and post-silicon teams to debug issues and harden designs.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills and experience; concise list of qualifications.
- 5+ years of experience in verification closure of complex units, subsystems, or SoC-level verification.
- Proven experience in high-speed IO verification (UFS, PCIe, XUSB) and familiarity with 10G/1G Ethernet MAC and switches.
- Experience with modern verification methodologies, including SystemVerilog and UVM.
- Strong debugging and analytical skills; experience with industry-standard simulation and debug tools.
- Effective communicator with ability to work collaboratively in a matrixed, cross-cultural environment.
- Nice-to-have: experience using AI-assisted coding tools, exposure to formal verification, and a focus on automation and continuous improvement.
