Job Title

Senior Verification Engineer - HSIO Cluster and SOC

Role Summary

Owner of cluster- and SOC-level verification for HSIO IP and related subsystems in automotive Tegra chips. Work on verification of high-performance CPU/memory subsystems, NOC interconnects, and high-speed I/Os.

Position sits in the automotive verification group and collaborates with architects, designers, FPGA, and post-silicon teams to achieve verification closure.

Experience Level

Senior engineer. The posting requests over 4 years of verification experience; the role expects experienced engineers able to lead SOC-level verification activities.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include designing and executing verification environments and driving closure for cluster and SOC units.

  • Architect and implement cluster/system-level testbenches and verification environments using SystemVerilog and C/C++.
  • Define test plans, create tests, and develop verification infrastructure for clusters and systems.
  • Verify high-speed I/O IPs and subsystems (USB, UFS, MPHY, Ethernet, MACSEC, PCIe, etc.).
  • Build reusable bus functional models, monitors, checkers, and scoreboards.
  • Implement functional coverage and drive SOC-level verification closure.
  • Collaborate with architects, designers, FPGA, and post-silicon teams to ensure robustness.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills and experience necessary to perform the role.

  • Over 4 years of experience in verification closure of complex units, subsystems, or SOC-level verification.
  • Proven experience in High-Speed IO verification (examples: UFS, PCIe, XUSB) and familiarity with Ethernet MAC and switching concepts (1G/10G).
  • Proficiency with SystemVerilog and UVM-based methodologies; experience using C/C++ in verification environments.
  • Strong debugging and analytical skills; experience with industry-standard simulation and debug tools.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills for cross-cultural, matrix-team collaboration.

Nice-to-have:

  • Experience using AI tools to assist code or test development.
