Job Title

Senior Verification Engineer - HSIO Cluster and SOC

Role Summary

Owner of cluster and SoC-level verification for HSIO IP and related subsystems in NVIDIA's automotive verification group. The role develops testbenches, verification components, and infrastructure that validate high-speed I/O, CPU/memory subsystems, NOC interconnects, and related IP.

Responsibilities

Define and execute verification strategy and infrastructure for cluster and system-level verification.

  • Architect testbenches and build verification environments using SystemVerilog, C/C++ methodologies.
  • Define test plans, create tests, and develop verification infrastructure for clusters and SoCs.
  • Implement bus functional models, monitors, checkers, and scoreboards focused on reuse and efficiency.
  • Implement functional coverage and drive SoC-level verification closure.
  • Collaborate with architects, designers, FPGA, and post-silicon teams to validate robustness.

Requirements

Core technical requirements and professional skills needed to perform the role.

Must-have:

  • 4+ years of experience in verification closure of complex units, sub-systems, or SoC-level verification.
  • Proven experience in High-Speed I/O verification (examples: UFS, PCIe, XUSB) and familiarity with 10G/1G Ethernet MAC and switch behavior.
  • Experience with SystemVerilog and UVM-based verification methodologies.
  • Familiarity with C/C++ for verification components and APIs.
  • Strong debugging and analytical skills; experience with industry-standard simulation and debug tools.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work effectively in distributed and matrixed teams.

Nice-to-have:

  • Experience using AI-assisted tools for code development or verification automation.
  • Exposure to Formal verification techniques.
  • A mentality for automation and continuous improvement.

Education Requirements

BTech or MTech in Electrical & Communication Engineering (ECE), Electrical Engineering (EE), Computer Science & Engineering (CSE), or an equivalent degree is required.
