Senior Verification Engineer
Role Summary
Join the Solution Engineering division to verify RTL for Arm SoC features, ensuring new and existing functionality meets architectural requirements. Work closely with RTL teams across geographies and contribute to verification strategy, environment development, and mentoring.
Experience Level
Senior-level. The posting requests more than 3 years of IP/SoC verification experience.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include:
- Collaborate with RTL designers across geographies to understand microarchitecture details.
- Develop and enhance verification environments, including stimulus generators and checkers.
- Verify new ARM architecture features and ensure they do not regress existing functionality.
- Define and implement verification strategies with other verification engineers.
- Drive continuous improvement of verification methodology based on learnings.
- Mentor early-tenure verification engineers.
Requirements
Must-have skills and experience:
- More than 3 years of proven IP/SoC verification experience.
- Advanced proficiency in SystemVerilog and Verilog; strong knowledge of UVM methodology.
- Experience writing verification and test plans.
- Testbench development experience using standard verification methodologies.
- Experience with scripting (Perl, Python, or similar).
- Strong interpersonal skills for collaboration with cross-functional, distributed teams.
Nice-to-have:
- Experience with AMBA protocols (CHI, AXI, AHB, APB, ATB) and JTAG/SW/TAP.
- Hands-on experience with Arm CoreSight IP and debug/trace architectures.
- Experience with ARM-based designs and/or ARM system architectures.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a closely related technical field (as stated in the posting).
