Job Title

Senior Verification Engineer - ARM Fabric Unit Level

Role Summary

Owner of unit-level verification for HSIO IP in an ARM-architecture fabric used in automotive Tegra chips. Develop and maintain SV/UVM testbenches and verification infrastructure for units, clusters, and subsystems.

Work with architects, RTL designers, FPGA, and post-silicon teams to drive verification closure and ensure unit robustness.

Experience Level

Senior-level. Candidates are expected to have 4+ years of verification experience focusing on complex units, sub-systems, or SoC verification.

Responsibilities

Primary duties during a project:

  • Architect and implement SV/UVM-based testbenches and verification environments.
  • Define test plans and verification infrastructure for modules, clusters, and systems.
  • Develop reusable bus functional models, monitors, checkers, and scoreboards.
  • Implement functional coverage and lead the verification closure process for the unit.
  • Collaborate with architects, designers, FPGA, and post-silicon teams to resolve issues and validate designs.
  • Debug failures using industry-standard simulation and debug tools.

Requirements

Must-have skills and experience; separate section below lists formal education expectations.

  • 4+ years of demonstrated ability achieving verification closure on complex units, subsystems, or SoCs.
  • Proven experience with ARM architecture and related protocols (AXI, AHB, APB).
  • Practical experience with SystemVerilog and UVM methodology.
  • Strong debugging and analytical skills using industry-standard simulation and debug tools.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills; experience working in global, matrixed teams.
  • Nice-to-have: experience applying AI tools to code development and exposure to Formal verification techniques.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's (BTech) or Master's (MTech) in Electrical & Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, or an equivalent degree is required.
