Job Title

Senior Verification Engineer

Role Summary

Lead verification for digital IP within the MME MCU/MPU Digital IP team, focusing on verification planning, testbench and VIP development, coverage and assertion capabilities, and formal verification to ensure silicon-quality IP for automotive and advanced microcontroller products.

Experience Level

Senior-level. Typical experience expectations: BSEE with 5+ years, MSEE with 3+ years, or PhD with 1+ year in the semiconductor industry (see Education Requirements).

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include planning and executing verification campaigns, building and maintaining verification infrastructure, and providing technical leadership.

  • Define and execute verification plans and strategies for digital IP.
  • Design and implement SystemVerilog/UVM testbenches, drivers, monitors, scoreboards, and integrate VIPs.
  • Create directed and constrained-random stimulus; develop and maintain functional coverage models; analyze functional and assertion coverage results.
  • Develop and maintain SystemVerilog assertions (SVA) and apply formal verification methods.
  • Debug failures, reproduce issues, and perform root-cause analysis across simulation and automated test environments.
  • Drive a zero-defect mindset; provide technical leadership and mentor junior engineers.
