Job Title

Senior Verification Engineer

Role Summary

Work on system-level verification by building complete reference platforms around Arm IP, bringing up systems in simulation and emulation, and debugging hardware and low-level software interactions. The role sits within the Hardware/Verification team in Bengaluru and focuses on validating and improving Arm IP quality at the system level.

Experience Level

Senior-level β€” 2–8 years of experience in SoC/IP development or verification.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include platform integration, bring-up, debugging, test development, and improving verification flows.

  • Integrate Arm CPU and system IPs into full reference platforms for stress verification
  • Bring up systems across simulation and emulation environments
  • Debug system-level issues spanning hardware and low-level software
  • Develop system-level tests using C/C++/Assembly
  • Collaborate with design, architecture, and global teams
  • Contribute to improving verification flows, tools, and efficiency

Requirements

Core skills and preferred experience.

  • Must-have: 2–8 years in SoC/IP development or verification; solid verification fundamentals and debug skills
  • Experience with C/C++ or Assembly-based testing
  • Exposure to pre-silicon environments (simulation/emulation)
  • Basic understanding of CPU or SoC architecture
  • Nice-to-have: Knowledge of Arm architecture and AMBA protocols; embedded software or firmware bring-up; experience in SoC integration or system-level validation
  • Scripting in Python or Perl
  • Familiarity with Verilog/SystemVerilog
