Job Title

Senior Verification Engineer

Role Summary

Verify CPU/SoC micro-architecture, subsystems and full-chip behavior for next-generation NVIDIA CPUs, working across simulator, FPGA and silicon platforms. The role partners with architects and cross-functional engineering teams to design and execute verification strategies that ensure correctness from unit-level blocks to full-system end-to-end sequences.

Experience Level

Senior-level. Guidance: 3+ years of relevant verification or design experience.

Responsibilities

Key day-to-day responsibilities include building and executing verification environments, debugging complex issues, and validating end-to-end behavior on simulators and silicon.

  • Develop and maintain unit, subsystem and full-chip verification testbenches (simulator, FPGA and silicon).
  • Verify micro-architecture and architecture features; create targeted tests and coverage plans.
  • Work across software simulator stacks to reproduce and validate silicon behavior with full software stacks.
  • Collaborate with CPU architects to ensure designs are verifiable and to refine verification scope.
  • Debug, triage and root-cause functional failures across RTL, firmware and software layers.
  • Coordinate with geographically distributed engineering teams to integrate verification efforts.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills and experience:

  • Strong verification fundamentals and practical experience with simulation and silicon bring-up.
  • Proficiency with CPU architecture concepts; ARM knowledge is desirable.
  • Experience with coherent fabric designs and system memory coherency concepts.
  • Hands-on experience with Verilog and SystemVerilog and strong debugging skills.

Nice-to-have:

  • Experience verifying CPU unit/microarchitecture blocks, interconnects, or system-level coherency.
  • Background in coverage-driven verification projects and advanced verification methodologies.
  • Experience collaborating across multi-functional, geographically distributed teams.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or a related technical field β€” or equivalent practical experience.
