Role Summary

Join the SoC verification team responsible for pre-silicon verification and validation of high-performance connectivity ASICs. The role focuses on RTL verification, testbench development, IP integration, and collaboration across design, physical implementation, and post-silicon teams.

Work will target advanced-node SoC designs for AI datacenter connectivity products; the role emphasizes thorough verification, debugging, and improvements to verification methodology.

Experience Level

Senior — typically 4+ years of ASIC design or verification experience (strong background in RTL verification and verification methodology).

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include pre-silicon verification, testbench development, integration, and coordination with cross-functional teams.

• Develop and maintain verification testbenches; analyze test failures to isolate bugs.
• Integrate third-party VIP for protocol compliance testing.
• Build and release design integrations into the SoC integration flow.
• Lead and coordinate tasks with team members and cross-functional groups.
• Collaborate with IP design, front-end design, PD, PV, EM/IR, and post-silicon teams.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of verification methodologies and processes.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills and desirable qualifications for the role.

• Must-have: Multi-year SoC design verification experience with applied UVM and constrained-random verification using SystemVerilog.
• Must-have: Proficiency in SystemVerilog, UVM, and scripting or programming with Python and C/C++ (Perl knowledge helpful).
• Must-have: Experience with post-silicon bring-up and debugging.
• Must-have: Strong communication and teamwork skills; ability to coordinate verification activities across teams.
• Nice-to-have: Experience with SerDes PHY, DSP, and analog/mixed-signal verification.
• Nice-to-have: Knowledge of Ethernet and PCIe protocol standards.
• Nice-to-have: Familiarity with formal verification and power-aware (UPF) verification techniques.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field with 4+ years' ASIC design/verification experience; OR Master's in Science, Engineering, or related field with 3+ years' experience; OR PhD in Science, Engineering, or related field with 2+ years' experience.
