Senior. The posting specifies: Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or a related field plus 1–2 years of related professional experience, or a Master’s/PhD in those fields with no experience.
Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include post-silicon validation, characterization, tuning, and automation:
- Represent system engineering while coordinating with digital, analog, and firmware teams.
- Perform post-silicon validation and collect and analyze bench data to drive tuning and ensure product quality.
- Characterize electrical building blocks such as Tx jitter, CDR loops, CTLE, and PLLs.
- Tune circuits (peaking, bandwidth, FIFO, adaptation algorithms) to optimize operating margin under stressed PVT conditions.
- Contribute to system-level hardware (PCB schematics) and collaborate with SI and layout teams to build engineering boards.
- Create, maintain, and own bench automation libraries (Python) for multiple products.
- Document findings, propose fixes, and support cross-functional integration and verification activities.
