Senior Test Hardware Engineer

Role Summary

Responsible for inspection, electrical verification, maintenance and qualification of ATE test hardware, evaluation boards and sockets used in engineering and production test. Collaborates with operations, test engineering and external manufacturing partners to ensure hardware compatibility, reliability and smooth logistics.

Senior β€” minimum 10 years' experience in PCB maintenance/repair and related test-hardware work.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include inspection, verification, maintenance, logistics and process improvement for test hardware.

  • Perform optical incoming inspection and qualification of ATE test hardware, evaluation boards and sockets.
  • Perform electrical verification using board checker on ATE and bench systems.
  • Maintain, repair and conduct preventive maintenance on hardware boards and sockets.
  • Generate incoming and outgoing verification reports.
  • Generate test recipes for electrical inspection using probe-card analyzer tools.
  • Manage logistics of hardware shipments to and from the Nabern test floor.
  • Verify mechanical drawings for compatibility with tester, prober and handler.
  • Support operations and OSAT partners by providing debugging guidance and creating engineering setups on ATE hardware.
  • Drive continuous improvements in the verification process.

Requirements

Must-have skills and experience:

  • Minimum 10 years' experience with printed circuit boards and corresponding maintenance and repair.
  • Experience with automated test equipment (ATE) and hardware verification tools.
  • Familiarity with PCB design, manufacturing processes and assembly technology.
  • Strong organizational skills and experience working with international, cross-functional teams.
  • Fluent English (verbal and written); effective team player and self-motivated.

Nice-to-have:

  • Experience using probe-card analyzers and generating test recipes.
  • Experience interfacing with OSATs or external manufacturing/test partners.
