Senior Test Engineer, Product Development

Role Summary

As a Senior Test Engineer on the Product Development team you will design, develop, and implement test methods, diagnostic programs, and test fixtures to validate semiconductor products throughout development and manufacturing. You will independently plan resources and schedules, drive qualification and quality activities, and mentor junior engineers.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include leading test strategy and execution across multiple product lines, developing diagnostics and test hardware, and ensuring products meet qualification and quality standards.

  • Lead design and implementation of comprehensive test strategies and test cases for new products.
  • Develop and execute diagnostic test programs to isolate complex performance issues.
  • Design and oversee manufacture of advanced test fixtures and evaluation PCBs.
  • Create and standardize test setups, procedures, and documentation.
  • Plan and coordinate testing resources, schedules, and equipment across projects.
  • Troubleshoot complex system and equipment failures; lead root-cause analysis.
  • Lead qualification testing to meet market and customer requirements.

  • Experience planning resources and managing schedules across multiple projects.
  • Demonstrated troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills on systems and test equipment.
  • Practical knowledge of qualification testing and quality assurance processes for semiconductor products.
  • Advanced capability in PCB design for test setups and evaluation boards.
  • Willingness to travel as required for the role (approximately 10% travel).

Nice-to-have: prior project leadership and formal experience mentoring junior engineers.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
