Senior Test Engineer, MPU/SoC
Role Summary
Develop and lead mass-production test programs and production ramp for MPU/SoC products in the Manufacturing team based in Kodaira. Own test transfer to OSAT partners, provide technical support, and drive improvements in test quality, yield and cost.
Deliver process improvements and automation to increase operational efficiency in production testing.

Responsibilities
Primary duties include test development, transfer, and continuous improvement for MPU/SoC mass production:
- Develop and validate ATE test programs for MPU/SoC mass production and lead production ramp-up.
- Transfer tests to OSAT partners and provide ongoing technical support and qualification.
- Drive test quality, yield improvement, and cost-reduction initiatives.
- Improve processes and implement automation to increase operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with DFT, design, and manufacturing teams to resolve test and yield issues.
Requirements
Core technical and language requirements.
Must-have:
- 5+ years of semiconductor test development experience.
- 5+ years using T2000 and J750 (IG-XL) ATE for test development.
- Experience in MPU/SoC product test development.
- DFT (Design for Testability) design skills.
- Experience automating tasks using Python or similar tools.
- Japanese: Business level; English: Conversational (TOEIC ~500).
- Willingness to work on-site in Kodaira, Japan.
Nice-to-have:
- Experience with OSAT test transfer and site qualification.
- Proven track record of yield and cost improvements in mass production.
Education Requirements
