Senior Test Engineer

Role Summary

Develop and optimize test strategy, programs and methods for memory, compute and system testing across hardware and software platforms. Work with internal teams and external partners to specify, acquire and scale test hardware and data collection for R&D and partner test environments.

Drive enablement for testability, execute Design of Experiments (DoE), debug device issues to determine root causes, and support yield and quality improvement efforts.

Experience Level

Senior β€” requires 7+ years of relevant semiconductor testing experience.

Responsibilities

Lead and execute test strategy and validation activities:

  • Create, develop, debug, and optimize test programs, patterns, and methods for memory, compute, and system testing.
  • Work with partner teams and vendors to specify, design, quote, and procure test hardware.
  • Execute test strategies across different environments and scale for capability, test time, cost, and cross-compatibility.
  • Plan and run Design of Experiments (DoE), debug device issues, and determine root causes of failures and marginalities.
  • Collect and scale data from in-house and partner test platforms.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure testability, quality assurance, process feedback, and yield optimization.

Requirements

Key qualifications β€” must-haves followed by desirable skills:

  • Prior experience with semiconductor testing, preferably focused on memory systems.
  • Proven experience developing, deploying, debugging and optimizing test programs.
  • Experience with memory and/or ATE test systems and strong data analysis and interpretation skills.
  • Experience specifying and ordering test hardware.
  • Strong collaboration skills and excellent written and verbal communication.

Nice-to-have:

  • Specific experience with Advantest memory testers.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced R&D environment and develop procedures without established standards.

Education Requirements

BS or higher in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering. The posting specifies 7+ years of experience in addition to the degree requirement.
