Senior Test Engineer

Role Summary

Senior Test Engineer on the Test Engineering team in Dallas responsible for defining test strategy and testability for new product introductions (NPI) including DC-DC converters, e-fuses, ideal diodes, and load switches.

Accountable for developing ATE test programs and hardware, coordinating with design architects and site engineers, releasing test solutions to production, and supporting volume ramp-up.

Experience Level

Senior level. The posting requests at least 3+ years of ATE program and hardware development experience as a guideline.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include development, release, and continuous improvement of test solutions for new products and production.

• Develop ATE test programs and test hardware; apply basic circuit design knowledge.
• Define product test strategy and testability for new products and cost-downs.
• Manage introduction and release of testing at production sites and support volume ramp-up.
• Ensure test program quality and drive yield improvements; perform test yield analysis.
• Perform test risk assessment (Test-FMEA) and provide test cost estimates.
• Archive test data, test plans, and related documentation; initiate peer and gate reviews.
• Participate in problem solving teams (8D) and drive test efficiency improvements.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills and professional competencies.

• 3+ years of ATE program and hardware development experience.
• Proficient in C++.
• Experience with test program development, test yield analysis, and test data management.
• Familiarity with DFT methods, statistics, semiconductor processes, and yield/data analysis tools.
• Strong analytical skills, customer orientation, and quality mindset.
• Good communication skills in English and ability to work in cross-functional projects.
• Nice-to-have: development experience with Analog ICs.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
