Senior Tegra Software Engineer
Role Summary
Senior engineer focused on system and security software for NVIDIA Tegra SoCs. Work spans bare-metal firmware, system bring-up, security features, and collaboration with architecture, software, and hardware teams.
This role contributes to validation, debugging, and implementation of cryptographic and runtime security components for next-generation SoCs.
Experience Level
Senior β typically 5+ years of relevant software development experience.
Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include engineering, debugging, validation, and collaboration across silicon lifecycle phases.
- Develop bare-metal firmware, system software, and prototype applications for security use cases.
- Debug and resolve security and system software issues on Tegra SoC platforms.
- Design and implement Root of Trust (ROT) and other cryptographic security components.
- Participate in pre-silicon simulation/emulation, test validation, and power-on bring-up.
- Specify and implement test cases; improve test automation and software quality.
- Collaborate with architecture, software, hardware teams and external partners for integration and performance.

Must-have: 5+ years of system software engineering experience with embedded platforms and security software.

Must-have: Proficient programming and debugging in C, C++, and Assembly.

Must-have: Strong understanding of operating system internals and embedded systems.

Nice-to-have: Experience with Rust or Ada/Spark.

Nice-to-have: Experience with GPU and SoC technologies, Secure Boot, Security Enclave, Confidential Compute, or cryptography.

Education Requirements
B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
