Senior Technical Program Manager - Tegra
Role Summary
Manage software program planning and execution for Tegra diagnostic software across the full silicon lifecycle: pre-silicon, bring-up, validation, and productization for embedded, automotive, and data center platforms.
This role coordinates cross-functional engineering teams, removes program roadblocks, and drives delivery of diagnostic software for next-generation SoC and platform products.
Experience Level
Senior — typically 8+ years of relevant experience in software program management, SoC bring-up, or related engineering program roles.
Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities for this role include coordinating diagnostic software activities and ensuring timely delivery across the silicon lifecycle.
- Lead planning and execution of Tegra diagnostic software across Diag POR, pre-silicon development and validation, silicon and platform bring-up, and productization.
- Create and manage complex project schedules; identify and remove technical and logistical roadblocks to meet silicon and platform milestones.
- Ensure teams produce required artifacts and collateral for the software product life cycle.
- Schedule and lead status meetings; communicate progress and risks across global collaborators and dependencies.
- Work closely with product and design teams to prioritize and implement custom bring-up requirements.
Requirements
Key must-have skills and background (technical program management focus).
- Must-have: Proven software technical program management experience in a matrix organization.
- Must-have: Deep understanding of the software development life cycle and release/productization processes.
- Must-have: Strong understanding of systems architecture: CPU, memory, buses/interconnects, power management, operating systems, and device drivers.
- Must-have: Demonstrated ability to run complex schedules, drive cross-functional coordination, and deliver against silicon/platform milestones.
- Nice-to-have: Experience leading software for SoC and platform bring-up (pre-silicon and post-silicon).
- Nice-to-have: Background in kernel, system software, drivers, or diagnostic software development.
- Nice-to-have: Experience with silicon/platform validation, characterization, and SoC micro-architecture.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's or master’s degree in computer engineering, electrical/electronics engineering, computer science, or a related field — or equivalent practical experience.
