Senior Technical Program Manager

Role Summary

The Senior Technical Program Manager will own planning and execution for the Connectivity Software team that develops kernel components, drivers, and firmware for NVIDIA SoCs. The role coordinates cross-functional work across hardware, software, release teams, customers, and external partners to deliver on the product roadmap.

Focus areas include roadmap alignment, dependency management, prioritization, process improvements, and metrics to improve execution efficiency.

Experience Level

Senior β€” requires 8+ years of program management experience delivering software products.

Responsibilities

Core responsibilities include:

  • Align SoC and product roadmaps with software team capacity and prioritize global work.
  • Coordinate dependencies across functional areas and identify planning gaps.
  • Make prioritization decisions and represent the team to other groups.
  • Collaborate with hardware, release planning, customers, and industry partners.
  • Propose and implement improved project management and unified planning systems.
  • Define and track metrics to improve execution efficiency.
  • Manage technical and program-level interactions with external partners and vendors.

Requirements

Required and preferred qualifications:

  • Must-have:
    • 8+ years of program management experience delivering software products.
    • Proven ability to balance short-term delivery against long-term process and capability improvements.
    • Experience coordinating cross-functional teams and external partners to meet schedules and deliverables.
    • Strong planning, prioritization, and metrics-driven execution skills.
  • Nice-to-have:
    • Knowledge of SoC, I/O peripherals, or CPU project management.
    • Past experience as a software developer.
    • Background in networking protocols, PCIe, USB, machine learning, or accelerated computing.
    • Experience with software productivity tools and process automation.

Education Requirements

Bachelors degree in engineering, Computer Science, or a similar technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
