Senior System Validation Engineer

Role Summary

Join NVIDIA Networking to validate system-level hardware and software for networking products (adapters, switches, cables, software). The role focuses on test verification and validation, improving test stability and coverage, and supporting production testing and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include system- and production-level validation across hardware and software.

  • Plan and execute verification and validation tests (regression, performance, functional, security).
  • Improve test stability, coverage, and design for lab and manufacturing environments.
  • Develop, maintain, and optimize automated tests and test flows.
  • Validate and support production jigs/fixtures and production test processes.
  • Troubleshoot failures; perform product engineering, failure analysis, and debug.
  • Report test progress and produce summary reports for stakeholders.
  • Support production-related technical issues and handoffs to manufacturing.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills and experience for this role.

  • Experience in hardware and software validation.
  • Programming experience in one or more languages: Perl, Python, C, C++.
  • Strong automation and scripting skills; ability to work with large Python codebases and derive unit tests.
  • Experience with mechanics and automated jigs/fixtures used in validation or production testing.
  • Knowledge of simulation flows and test automation development.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and experience in failure analysis and test design.
  • Excellent English communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice-to-have:

  • Experience as a Verification Engineer.
  • Experience in high-speed electrical testing and unit testing.
  • Familiarity with production manufacturing flows.

Education Requirements

BSc in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field. The posting specifies 5+ years of professional experience.
