Senior System Test Engineer
Role Summary
Join the Test Solutions group to develop manufacturing test solutions for NVIDIA Datacenter system products. You will design and implement test strategies, develop diagnostic software and fixtures, and work with contract manufacturers to ensure production test quality and efficiency.
The role requires combined hardware and software expertise focused on post-silicon validation and production test automation.
Experience Level
Senior — typically 8+ years of relevant experience in post-silicon validation, board or system-level testing, and manufacturing test programs.
Responsibilities
Deliver manufacturing test solutions and diagnose issues across hardware and software during production.
- Define and implement manufacturing test solutions for Datacenter system products.
- Develop test strategies: identify, specify, design, and qualify test fixtures, equipment, and diagnostic software.
- Debug complex hardware and software issues during build and validation phases.
- Work closely with contract manufacturers and provide occasional on-site factory support.
- Investigate and introduce new manufacturing test technologies and methodologies to improve production efficiency.
- Review and provide feedback for design-for-test (DFT) in early design stages.
- Contribute to automated diagnostic generation and validation infrastructure.
Requirements
Core qualifications and skills required for the position.
- 8+ years of post-silicon validation experience in board or system products.
- Experience with manufacturing test programs at the platform level and with Datacenter platforms.
- Proficiency in Python and experience with bash scripting.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and effective communication.
Nice-to-have:
- Background with rack- and cluster-level test, test methodology, and strategy.
Education Requirements
BS degree (Bachelor's) or equivalent practical experience; the posting specifies "BS Degree or equivalent experience."
