Senior System Software Engineer — CPU Platform SBIOS Technical Delivery Lead

Role Summary

Join a Taiwan-based engineering team supporting NVIDIA CPU platform programs and partner factories. The Technical Delivery Lead troubleshoots and resolves SBIOS issues reported by customers, partners, ODMs, and internal teams, working across varied firmware code bases and coordinating with domain experts.

Experience Level

Senior level — requires 8+ years of relevant firmware or embedded engineering experience.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include on-site support, investigation, and tool development to resolve SBIOS problems.

• Provide in-person and in-time-zone support for NVIDIA platform factories and ODM/OEM partner factories.
• Investigate and resolve SBIOS issues reported by customers, partners, ODMs, and internal stakeholders.
• Work across varied firmware and software code bases and modules to diagnose root causes.
• Resolve the majority of reported problems independently and engage domain experts when required.
• Develop engineering tools and apply AI to accelerate analysis, diagnostics, and documentation.
• Share effective AI practices, prompts, and tools with fellow engineers while applying judgment about AI outputs.

Requirements

Must-have skills and experience.

• 8+ years of firmware or embedded systems engineering experience, with strong debugging and root-cause analysis skills.
• Proven ability to work across multiple code bases and firmware modules to diagnose and fix issues.
• Demonstrated experience using AI to build tools or accelerate engineering workflows.
• Ability to work independently, coordinate with domain experts, and provide in-person support to factories and partners in the assigned time zone.

Education Requirements

B.S. degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
