Role Summary

Work on NVIDIA DRIVE OS system-software components and adapt solutions to multiple automotive platforms. The role focuses on AUTOSAR architecture, platform integration, and system-level prototyping to enable safety‑critical automotive software.

Experience Level

Senior level — requires 5+ years of relevant industry experience.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include architecture, prototyping, and cross-team problem resolution for AUTOSAR-based platforms.

• Contribute to evolution of AUTOSAR architecture, tools, and methodology and recommend design choices.
• Perform architectural explorations: feasibility studies, prototyping, profiling, safety analysis, and data-driven presentations.
• Adapt and integrate DRIVE OS solutions across different car platforms and sensors.
• Influence next-generation hardware and software architecture and design.
• Drive complex technical issues to closure, coordinating with cross-functional teams and vendors.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills and experience.

• 5+ years of system software development experience for embedded/automotive platforms.
• Strong programming in C/C++; scripting experience (Python, Perl, etc.).
• Comfortable working in large codebases and performing rapid prototyping and experimentation.
• Deep understanding of CPU/GPU architecture, data structures, OS internals, multithreading, IPC, and memory management.
• Hands-on experience with vendor AUTOSAR stacks (e.g., Vector, EB) and development of MCALs, CDDs, and SWCs.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; proactive and self-motivated.
• Knowledge of multicore/heterogeneous SoCs, camera/imaging/video/graphics/compute systems is a strong plus.
• Experience with Adaptive AUTOSAR or participation in AUTOSAR standard bodies is a definite standout.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree (BS/MS) in a relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
