Senior System Integration and Validation Engineer
Role Summary
Lead system validation, cross-stack debug, and cross-functional alignment for a flagship GPU/SoC program within the Silicon Co-Design Group. Ensure builds meet milestones by resolving ambiguous multi-team failures and driving durable fixes.
Work across architecture, silicon design, firmware, software, manufacturing, and platform engineering to deliver validation coverage, debug methodology, and AI-enabled workflows that improve escape rate and ramp confidence.
Experience Level
Senior; 6+ years post-silicon validation, system integration, or platform debug experience on shipped GPU, CPU, or SoC products.
Responsibilities
Own system-level validation, lead debug, and build scalable validation and AI-enabled workflows for production readiness.
- Own end-to-end system validation for GPU, SoC, and platform programs: feature checks, PVT stress, system-stress campaigns at scale, and multi-unit fleet testing.
- Lead cross-stack debug (logic, signal integrity, power delivery, firmware, software) to root cause and deliver reusable workarounds or productized fixes.
- Develop test plans, scripts, and automation ahead of physical builds translating architecture, boot flows, high-speed I/O, and power/thermal dependencies into executable coverage.
- Design and deploy AI-enabled debug and validation workflows with explicit guardrails, regression validation, and measurable impact on cycle time, debug velocity, or escape rate.
- Translate complex silicon and system risk into concise, decision-ready options for technical and executive audiences.
- Coordinate globally with silicon design, DFT, firmware, software, manufacturing, and platform teams, including counterpart engineers across hubs.
- Lead crisis-mode debug task forces and convert learnings into reusable methodology and playbooks for adjacent programs.
- Shift validation left with stress and feature-interaction tests to find critical issues before customer exposure and improve DPPM and ramp confidence.
Requirements
Must-have technical depth, demonstrated delivery in crisis, and experience building or scaling AI-driven validation workflows.
- Proven track record in post-silicon validation, system integration, or platform debug on shipped GPU, CPU, or SoC products.
- Hands-on debug across silicon, board, and software boundaries: logic design, SI/PI, power delivery, high-speed I/O, and PVT behavior.
- Strong electrical engineering fundamentals in signal integrity, power integrity, thermal behavior, and related instrumentation.
- Working understanding of GPU, CPU, or SoC architecture and how system interactions affect validation and debug.
- Concrete example of taking an ambiguous, multi-team failure to root-cause closure with a productized fix and leading the team through the crisis.
- Demonstrated experience building or scaling AI-driven validation workflows (not just using tools) with documented guardrails and measurable impact.
Nice-to-have:
- Experience building reusable validation methodology, debug playbooks, or test frameworks adopted by other teams; publications, patents, or invited talks are a plus.
- Hands-on subsystem depth in HBM, SerDes/high-speed I/O, power and thermal, or advanced packaging and associated failure modes and instrumentation.
- Experience partnering with counterpart teams across geographies, shared on-call practices, and shared metrics.
- Experience deploying agentic AI workflows, RAG-grounded debug assistants, regression bucketing, or automated triage at team scale with adoption metrics.
Education Requirements
BTech/BE or MTech/ME in Electronics, Electrical, or Computer Engineering β or equivalent practical experience. The posting also specifies equivalent experience language alongside degrees.
