Role Summary
Technical lead for verification architecture, methodology, and delivery for video IPs and subsystems. Ensure first-pass silicon quality through robust verification strategy, automation, and cross-functional collaboration.
Work closely with architecture, design, firmware, and system teams; mentor verification engineers and drive verification best practices across projects.

Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities focus on verification strategy, delivery, and technical leadership.
- Define and drive verification architecture, methodology, and execution strategy for complex IPs and subsystems.
- Lead verification planning, testbench architecture, regression strategy, coverage closure, and sign-off.
- Own end-to-end verification delivery: plan development, testbench implementation, stimulus/test development, coverage analysis, debug, and root-cause analysis.
- Collaborate with architecture, design, firmware, and system teams to ensure comprehensive verification coverage.
- Drive automation and productivity improvements; promote verification best practices across teams.
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior and senior verification engineers; manage technical risks affecting project execution.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills and experience for immediate contribution.
- 13+ years of experience in ASIC/SoC/IP verification.
- Strong expertise in SystemVerilog and UVM; experience architecting large-scale reusable verification environments.
- Deep experience with coverage-driven verification methodologies and coverage closure.
- Proven experience integrating and validating C/C++ reference models within UVM/SystemVerilog environments.
- Strong debugging and root-cause analysis skills.
- Hands-on experience with Assertion-Based Verification (ABV) and SystemVerilog Assertions (SVA).
- Scripting skills (Python, Perl, Shell/TCL) and experience with automation tools.
Nice-to-have / preferred:
- Familiarity with video and multimedia architectures (video codecs such as H.264, H.265/HEVC, AV1, VP9; video processing pipelines; DMA frameworks).
- Experience with industry-standard interfaces and protocols (AXI/AHB/APB, NoC architectures).
- Exposure to firmware-hardware co-verification, subsystem verification, gate-level simulation, power-aware verification (UPF), formal verification, emulation, performance validation, or silicon bring-up/post-silicon debug.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field with 6+ years; OR Master's in those fields with 5+ years; OR PhD in those fields with 4+ years of relevant Hardware Engineering experience.
