Senior Staff Test Development Engineer
Role Summary
As a Senior Staff Test Development Engineer on the Operations team, you will develop and validate production and characterization test programs for Marvell silicon to ensure products meet specifications and yield targets. You will collaborate with design, product, and DFT/DFM teams to define test strategies, optimize test flows, and resolve test-related issues.
Expected base pay range (USD): 120,200 - 177,820 per annum. This role is eligible for bonus and equity participation.

Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include developing ATE test programs, validating test flows, and collaborating across teams to release production tests.
- Develop characterization, production, and wafer-sort test programs on the Advantest 93K tester.
- Design tester hardware and testing strategies for high-speed testing when required.
- Convert test patterns from design simulation formats to ATE format.
- Create detailed test plans, methodologies, and documentation to meet product specifications.
- Participate in testability reviews with DFT/DFM teams to improve yield and test coverage.
- Lead test flow optimization, reduce test time, and support yield improvement and production releases.
- Troubleshoot test failures and work with design and product engineers to resolve issues.
- Prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment and maintain accountability for deliverables.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills, experience, and work attributes.
- Minimum 6+ years of test program development experience on the Advantest 93K ATE platform.
- Proven experience in ATE testing, test methodology, silicon process understanding, and DFT/DFM.
- At least 4+ years of high-speed digital testing experience.
- Proficiency with C/C++, Perl, Python, and Linux test environments.
- Strong problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills; ability to work cross-functionally.
- Ability to multitask and operate with urgency in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be eligible to access export-controlled technology; candidate may be subject to export license review where applicable.
Nice-to-have:
- Experience designing tester hardware for high-speed testing.
- Experience optimizing test flow for production at scale.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (posting references 5–10 years experience for BS).
